Styles/Pattern Box
This tutorial is to
show you how to change the patterns in your Styles boxes. You
know them as your Foreground Color, and your Background Color.
But they can do so much more to aid in making your graphics
gorgeous.
All you need to do
for this tut is to open your PSP, and look over over to the right at
your colors box. Underneath, there is the word "Styles", and 2
little boxes:

When you click on
that little black arrow

Your box will open
and you will see this:

The Paint Brush,
we already
know gives us just colors. The Gradient box
gives us the gradient
colors, and the Pattern box
is what we are going to
use now. Of course the No box (well that is what I call it,
LOL) means just that, no
color at all.
OK, when we click
on the Pattern box ,
this Pattern box comes up.

Then we click on
the little arrow by the picture, which brings up this display of
patterns:

This display
will show everything that is open on your PSP desk top. So,
for this tutorial, I have selected the gradient pattern. When
I click on it, I get the Pattern box back, with my selection in it.

I am using no
angle, and the Scale is 100%. I click on OK, and my pattern
shows up in my Styles box,

so I can use the
paint can
to flood fill my image.

I hope this tutorial has helped you
understand your PSP a little better. I am not a professional
tutorial writer, just trying to share what little I do know with
others. If you have any questions, please feel free to
