Subfolders

I like to keep my graphics and files in categories so that I can find them.  Therefore, I have Subfolders inside my folders.  Sometimes there are Subfolders inside my Subfolders.  You can have subfolders in ANY file folder you need to have them in.

OK, I have a tube of an automobile, but I don't have an automobile subfolder in my Tubes folder.  No Problem.  I just go to File, New, and Folder.

OK, I have a new folder that I have named Automobiles.

The new folders always show up at the bottom of the list, so don't be alarmed if you don't see your new folder at the top.

To get this folder where it should be, I go to View, Arrange Icons by, and for this I say Name.

Then Automobiles shows up where it should be.  Now if I wanted to subdivide them even more, I would open up my Automobiles folder, and go thru the whole process of making a new folder, etc, dividing it into Cars, Trucks, Buses, etc.

Don't worry, you are not going to have too many folders or subfolders.  I have 110 subfolders in my Tubes folder alone.  Then more subfolders inside those.

But if you decide to delete a folder, there are two ways of doing it.  One just right click on the folder name, then click on delete in the box that comes up.  Two, just highlight (click one time on) your folder. Then go to File, Delete

You will get this Are You Sure box.

Click on Yes, and Walla, it is gone.
