Fonts

*Note:  I have Windows XP, so if you are using Windows 98 or earlier, your pictures might look different from mine, but they all work the same.

To find your Windows Fonts Folder, Go to Start, Settings, then Control Panel.

To open it, just double click on it, when it opens, it will display all the fonts that are installed in your Windows font folder.

Of course, this is just a hint of what all is installed in my files.  But you don't want to keep more than about 200 fonts installed at a time.  More than this will take forever for your programs to open, and could crash your system.

Therefore, I have a Fonts file in My Documents, where I keep all of my fonts.  When I want to use a particular font that is not installed, I just open it in My Documents Font file, then click on the little _ button up in the right hand corner to reduce it.

Then I open my PSP, Front Page, or whatever program that I want to use, and the name of it shows up, and I am able to use it without installing it in my Windows Font file.
